TRG Pakistan warns of fake documents circulating

December 30, 2024 (MLN): Amid the circulation of fake documents on social media, TRG Pakistan Limited (PSX: TRG) has cautioned its shareholders about misleading information, the notification issued to the local bourse.

These documents display incorrect calculations and financial scenarios regarding the tender recently announced by the Company’s largest shareholder.

The Company is concerned that its shareholders are seeing false and misleading information that has been maliciously circulated by certain parties, often using the Company’s logo, with the intention of misleading investors.

The Company urges its public shareholders and other stakeholders to rely only on information shared by the Company through official channels.

They are advised not to be influenced by information from unofficial sources, particularly on WhatsApp and social media.
