SBP targets to raise Rs5.75tr through T-bills, PIBs in Oct-Dec 2026
The government is targeting to raise Rs5.75 trillion during the three months from October 2026 till December 2026 through the auction of Market Treasury Bills (MTBs) and Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs), according to the auction calendars released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Govt raises Rs75bn in Hybrid Sukuk auction
The Government of Pakistan raised a combined Rs75.314bn in face value through its latest Government of Pakistan Hybrid Sukuk (GHS) and Government of Pakistan Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) auction conducted via the PSX Auction System. This fell short of the combined pre-auction target of Rs100bn.

Govt accepts Rs23.5bn face value in GoP Ijarah Sukuk Outright Purchase
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) conducted an auction for the outright purchase of Government of Pakistan Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) on a deferred payment (Bai Muajjal) basis, in which the government accepted Rs23.5bn in face value, translating to a total deferred Bai Muajjal amount of Rs35.530bn.
