SBP Raises Rs1.34tr in dual auctions of MTBs, PIB-FR
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) mobilized Rs1.34 trillion through dual auctions of Market Treasury Bills (MTBs) and Pakistan Investment Bonds – Floating Rate (PIB-FR), with yields remaining largely unchanged, in line with the central bank’s decision to keep the policy rate steady at 11% for the fourth consecutive time.

SBP targets to raise Rs6.5tr: Auction Calendar Oct–Dec
The government is targeting to raise Rs6.5 trillion during the three months from October to December 2025 through the auction of Market Treasury Bills (MTBs) and Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs), according to the auction calendars released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Pakistan to Launch First Panda Bond with ADB and AIIB Credit Guarantee
Pakistan will issue its first Panda Bond worth USD 250 million in RMB, backed by credit guarantees from ADB and AIIB to secure a AAA rating in China. The 3-year bond will target institutional investors on China’s Interbank Market by December 2025.
