SCRA balance drops Rs374m, securities see Rs3bn net selling

September 17, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs374.01m during the week ending Sep 11, 2026 to close at Rs27.76bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs3.00bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs13.87bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs3.82bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs9.25bn while dividend received was Rs798.27m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs14.25bn.

Outward remittances were Rs7.37bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs6.26bn and total tax paid was Rs614.60m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-19.62bn, Rs-2.31bn and Rs2.54bn to close at Rs568.09bn, Rs106.70bn and Rs47.53bn.
