Wahdat Poultry Farm secures Rs500m short-term financing facility from Saudi Pak

September 17, 2026 (MLN): Wahdat Poultry Farm Limited (PSX:WAHDAT) has signed an offer letter with Saudi Pak Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company Limited for a short-term financing facility of Rs500mn.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company said the move was made in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1 of the PSX Rule Book, disclosing the material information to the bourse, its shareholders, and the investing public.

The facility carries a markup of 3-month KIBOR plus 1.5% per annum, with a limit expiry of three years.

Each drawdown under the revolving facility will have a tenor of 120 days, with the principal to be repaid as a bullet payment on maturity of each tranche and markup payable quarterly in arrears.

The facility is secured by a first pari passu/joint pari passu charge by way of hypothecation over the company's present and future current assets, with a 25% margin.

The company said the facility was intended for its working capital requirements and would help strengthen its working capital position and provide additional financial flexibility to support ongoing business operations and growth.

Wahdat Poultry Farm said it would continue to keep the Exchange, its shareholders, and the investing public informed of any further material developments in this regard.
