June 20, 2023 (MLN): KSE100 Index closed Tuesday's trading session at 40,653.03 showing an increase of 31.82 points.

The index traded in a range of 232.79 points showing an intraday high of 40,739.97 and a low of 40,507.18.

Total Volume of the KSE100 Index was 73.768 million shares.

Of the companies in KSE100 32 closed up, 53 closed down, 5 were unchanged while 10 remained untraded.

KSE100 index was supported by Oil & Gas Exploration Companies with 61.23, Oil & Gas Marketing Companies with 28.54, Technology & Communication with 20.33, Power Generation & Distribution with 16.63 and Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. with 12.29 points.

Companies adding points to the index were OGDC with 23.89, PPL with 22.48, HUBC with 20.47, SYS with 18.53 and BAHL with 12.57 points.

KSE100 Index was let down by Commercial Banks with 26.49, Automobile Assembler with 25.37, Chemical with 16.98, Glass & Ceramics with 10.59 and Engineering with 9.81 points.

Companies dragging the index lower were COLG with 20.7, MTL with 18.08, UBL with 13.46, HBL with 9.67 and GHGL with 9.59 points.

In the broader market, the All-Share index closed at 27,638.19 with a net loss of 21.84 points.

Total market volume was 124.856 million shares with traded value being recorded at 4.05 billion.

There was 70,665 trades reported in 304 companies with 106 closing up, 172 closing down and 26 remaining unchanged.
