PMEX Commodity Index inches higher by 20 points

May 13, 2020: On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index edged up by 20 points to at 3,731-mark. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.183 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,460.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.297 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 893.265 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 558.158 million), Silver (PKR 521.874 million), Crude Oil (PKR 406.932 million), Natural Gas (PKR 148.093 million), DJ (PKR 92.638 million), Copper (PKR 89.190 million), Platinum (PKR 89.000 million) and SP500 (PKR 86.684 million).

In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.374 million were traded.
