Commerce Minister to lead Pakistan’s trade push at Hong Kong summit

September 08, 2026 (MLN): Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan will visit Hong Kong from September 8 to 11, 2026, to represent Pakistan at the Belt and Road Summit.

During the visit, Jam Kamal will deliver a special address at the summit, participate in key sessions and hold high-level meetings with senior leaders and officials from Hong Kong and other countries, according to an official release issued on Tuesday.

The commerce minister will also meet leading business organisations and investors to explore opportunities for promoting trade and attracting investment, according to APP.

He is further scheduled to engage with members of the Pakistani community as part of efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s economic ties with international partners.
