June 02, 2025 (MLN): The government remains committed to transforming Pakistan into a stable global economy through sustainable institutional reforms, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif affirmed.

While chairing a review meeting on FBR reforms in Islamabad, the Prime Minister noted that institutional reforms are progressing rapidly across all sectors.

He highlighted that government bodies are working diligently to root out corruption and address transparency issues within national institutions.

To strengthen ongoing efforts, Shehbaz Sharif directed authorities to engage internationally recognized firms for third-party validation of FBR reforms.

He pointed to recent economic indicators as clear evidence that the government's policies are on the right track, as per the press release issued today.

Expressing satisfaction with recent improvements, the Prime Minister praised the performance of the Faceless Customs Assessment System a transparency-driven reform that, he said, is yielding positive results.

The meeting underscored the government's broader reform agenda, following what Shehbaz Sharif called the historic victory in Marka-e-Haq.
