KP Government allocates Rs12billion for promotion of health services

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated Rs 12 billion for the promotion of health services in the current Annual Development Programme.

Official sources told Radio Pakistan that the amount will be spent on one hundred projects.

At least 47, 000 Tuberculosis (TB) and over 1, 000 cancer patients will be provided free treatment across the province. Around 4, 000 Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) will also be recruited to improve mother child health care system.
