Petrol price jumps Rs3.66/litre, diesel up Rs4.80 from July 25

July 24, 2026 (MLN): The government has raised the price of petrol by Rs3.66 per litre to Rs335.18 and High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs4.80 per litre to Rs383.46, effective July 25, 2026.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the revised ex-depot prices have been notified by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) based on the pricing mechanism issued by the federal government.

Under the current mechanism, OGRA computes and notifies petroleum prices on a daily basis. The previous prices, effective July 24, were Rs331.52 per litre for petrol and Rs378.66 per litre for HSD.
