Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs300 per tola

August 16, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs257,700 per tola, up Rs300.

It is worth noting that the price has been kept Rs2,000 below its actual cost today.

The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs220,936 per 10-gram, up Rs256.

Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted higher at Rs202,525 per 10-gram.

Silver prices also rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs2,900 per tola (+Rs50) and Rs2,486 per 10-gram (+Rs43).

On the global front, spot gold traded near $2,464 an ounce, up $6.4 or 0.26% from the previous session.
