FZCM restores Blow Room to full capacity after fire incident

September 23, 2026 (MLN): Fazal Cloth Mills Limited (PSX: FZCM) confirmed a fire incident occurred in the Blow Room (Unit No. 10) at its Muzaffargarh production facility, with the situation promptly brought under control and the unit restored to normal operations, now running at full production capacity.

The Company noted that the incident was promptly attended to by relevant personnel, with necessary measures taken to control the situation and safeguard the Company's assets and operations.

The Company has notified its insurer and formally submitted a claim for the loss and damage resulting from the incident.

The insurance company is currently conducting its standard inspection and assessment in accordance with policy terms, and the Management does not anticipate any financial impact on the Company.

The amount, if any, recoverable from the insurer will be determined upon completion of the assessment and verification process, following which the Company will make the necessary accounting treatment and disclosures in accordance with applicable financial reporting requirements.

The Company added that it will keep PSX informed of any material developments in this regard.
