Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs900 per tola

April 25, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs348,700 per tola, down Rs3,300.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs298,950 after a decline of Rs2,833, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs274,047 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,497 per tola (+Rs40) and Rs2,998 per 10-gram (+Rs35).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,294 an ounce, down $54.6 or 1.63% from the previous session.

Gold declined more than 1% on Friday and was headed for a weekly fall as news that China has exempted some U.S. goods from its tariffs raised hopes of a de-escalation in trade tensions.
