Federal govt assures full support to private sector for new hydro-power projects

August 27, 2020: Federal government has assured full support to the private sector for new hydropower projects in the country.
Speaking at 1st International virtual conference on Pakistan's hydropower sector, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Power Division Shahzad Qasim said that more such events should be held for finding viable solutions to resolve energy issues of the country.
Managing Director of Private Power Infrastructure Board Shah Jahan Mirza said that the Board has been facilitating the construction of new hydropower projects in the country to the maximum possible extent.
