SPL extends plant shut down for ten more days

February 14, 2023 (MLN): The management of Sitara Peroxide Limited (SPL) has decided to extend the suspension of plant operation and production activities for ten more days, as per the notice issued by the company to PSX showed on Tuesday.

The plant operation will resume from February 24, 2023, the notification read.

On January 13, 2023, the company announced a temporary shutdown of plant operations due to the economic downturn, overdue plant maintenance, and non-clearance of letters of credit (LCs) of necessary raw materials.

To note, the company is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of hydrogen peroxide.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is being traded at Rs15.40, up by 51 paisa or 1.41%.
