Sitara Peroxide extends plant shutdown for another month

November 07, 2023 (MLN): The management of Sitara Peroxide Limited (PSX: SPL) has decided to extend the suspension of plant operation for another 30 days, SPL’s filing on the local bourse revealed today.

The company has issued this notice in continuation of its letter dated October 13, 2023, regarding the suspension of production due to repair work and the replacement of heavy cables.

It is important to mention that SPL ceased its operations due to an unfortunate incident where heavy electrical cables worth approximately Rs. 65 million were stolen or stolen.

SPL is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of hydrogen peroxide.

At the time of writing, the company's share is being traded at Rs16, down by 83 paisa or 4.93% compared to its previous close.
