SHC orders to make no changes in BoD till next hearing: KEL

October 27, 2022 (MLN): K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL) informed on Thursday that as per directions of the Sindh High Court (SHC), no change should be affected in the present Board of Directors of K-Electric till the next date of hearing.

“This is to inform you that through the ad-interim order, the Sindh High Court has directed that no change should be affected in the present Board of Directors of K-Electric till the next date of hearing i.e., 08 November 2022,” the notification issued to PSX read.

This development came after the disclosure made by KEL on October 24, 2022, K-Electric has been served with a copy of Suit No. 1867 of 2022, Al Jomaih Power Limited & another vs IGCF SPV 21 Limited & others, and the appended ad-interim order dated October 21, 2022, passed therein.

K-Electric has been impleaded in the aforesaid suit as Defendant No.4.
