SBP reserves rise $18.6m to $9.42bn

July 18, 2024 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $18.6 million or 0.20% WoW to $9.42 billion during the week ended on July 12, 2024, data released by State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.
Similarly, the country's total reserves increased by $58.8m or 0.40% WoW to $14.7bn.
The reserves held by commercial banks rose by $40.2m or 0.77% WoW to $5.28bn.
In the current fiscal year, SBP-held reserves have increased by $34.2m or 0.36%.
Meanwhile, the current calendar year has seen an increase of $1.2bn or 14.63%.
