SBP receives US$ 2.75bn from IMF

August 24, 2021 (MLN): State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Tuesday has received US$ 2.75 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as part of the SDR allocation announced by IMF recently.

The aforesaid announcement was made by SBP on its Twitter handle.

IMF on Monday announced additional funding of US$650bn across the globe to mitigate the crisis risen after the pandemic.
