SAZEW to temporarily shut down four-wheeler plant

February 24, 2023 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW), a leading automotive company in Pakistan has decided to temporarily shut down its Four Wheeler Plant starting from February 27, 2023, until March 04, 2023, the company filing on PSX showed today.

The decision was made due to the disruption in the supply chain caused by the government's strict measures to minimize the import of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) and raw materials of vehicles.

The company's Three-Wheeler and Automotive Parts manufacturing plants, however, will remain operational during this period.

SAZEW is committed to ensuring that the production and supply of these products continue uninterrupted.

The company's management has assured its shareholders and stakeholders that any further updates on the matter will be promptly communicated to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

SAZEW has been a major player in the automotive industry in Pakistan, producing high-quality vehicles and parts for both the domestic and international markets.
