PSX to remain closed on February 08 on account of general election

February 03, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) will remain closed on Thursday, February 08, 2024, due to the general election taking place in the country, the bourse informed through a notice sent to all TRE certificate holders on Friday.

"All TRE Certificate Holders, staff and concerned are hereby informed that Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited will remain closed on Thursday, February 8, 2024, being a public holiday declared by the Election Commission of Pakistan for the general election," the notice reads.

It is worth mentioning that PSX will also remain closed on Monday, February 05, 2024, on account of Kashmir Day.
