PSX to remain close on July 28,29 on account of Ashura

July 21, 2023 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will remain closed on Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29, 2023 on account of Ashura, 9th and 10th, Muharram, 1445 A.H, the notice issued by the local bourse on Friday said.

"TRE Certificate Holders, Staff and concerned are hereby informed that Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited will remain closed on Friday, July 28, 2023 & Saturday, July 29, 2023, on account of Ashura, 9th and 10th, Muharram, 1445 A.H," the notice reads.

Ashura is a day of commemoration in Islam. It occurs annually on the 10th of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar.
