PSX to merge settlements for late June trades on July 02

June 26, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has issued a revised clearing schedule for June 2024, as per which there will be a merged settlement on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, for trades conducted on June 27, 2024, and June 28, 2024.

The adjustment is due to a bank holiday on Monday, July 01, 2024. Since banks will be closed, the usual settlement process cannot occur on that day.

Accordingly, the Margin Trading System (MTS) shall not be available on June 27, 2024, however, the MTS Release session shall remain available on the said date.

The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) notice also mentioned guidelines for Clearing Members while using RMS functionalities provided by NCCPL for facilitation/smoothening of trading activities.
