April 09, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will proudly be launching the PSX Primer on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) on April 16, 2024.
The PSX ESG Primer aims to apprise listed companies on the ESG risks and opportunities, educate stakeholders on how ESG data can be used, highlight the potential of ESG innovation, and provide practical guidance for producing a Sustainability Report.
In this context, an educational and awareness webinar will also be held by PSX to guide listed companies on ESG reporting and understand PSX Primer on ESG which is a comprehensive guide for listed companies to report on ESG.
This webinar will facilitate listed companies in forming an understanding of ESG Primer and ESG Reporting.
The webinar will include a keynote address by Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Chairperson of PSX. It will also include an introduction on ESG Reporting Standards by a representative from PWC. The representatives of listed companies are required to attend this webinar.
