October 12, 2023 (MLN): Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSX: PSO) has restored the fuel supply to Pakistan International Airlines (PIAC) as the national carrier paid Rs20 million in dues, as per media sources.

To note, the total amount owed by the PIAC stands at around Rs26 billion.

PSO had suspended the fuel supply amid PIAC’s inability to settle its dues, which resulted in the cancelation of several PIA flights.

Sources revealed that the PIAC outstanding dues to PSO amount to around Rs2bn this month to continue the smooth supply of jet fuel, out of which, PIAC has committed to settle Rs750m by today.
