Policy rate hike not to hit CPHL‘s profitability

November 22, 2021 (MLN): The recent discount rate hike of 1.5% by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) does not have a substantial impact on the profitability of the CITI PHARMA LIMITED (CPHL) as the company has a single-digit gearing with a minimum borrowing, a notification issued by the company to PSX said on Monday.

“This is along with the placement of available funds in the secured investment portfolio which entails the net positive impact on the results of our company,” it added.
