PMEX Commodity index inches higher by 34 points

July 01, 2020: PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,417-mark by just gaining 34 points on Tuesday. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 12.598 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,504.
The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 7.566 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.232 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.088 billion), DJ (PKR 944.244 million), Silver (PKR 797.837 million), Crude Oil (PKR 391.921 million), Platinum (PKR 215.814 million), Natural Gas (PKR 200.328 million), SP500 (PKR 141.316 million) and Copper (PKR 19.626 million).
In agriculture commodities, 4 lot of Wheat amounting to PKR 16.542 million and 4 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.001 million were traded.
