PMEX Commodity Index closes at 4,974 points

August 14, 2020: On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,974. The traded value of Metals, Energy COTS/FX and Indices was recorded at PKR 14.596 billion and the number of lots traded was 15,847.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 10.967 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 1.700 billion), Copper (PKR 617.252 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 381.205 million), DJ (PKR 303.534 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 247.315 million), Platinum (PKR 202.779 million), Crude Oil (PKR 80.492 million), Natural Gas (PKR 78.793 million) and SP500 (PKR 16.972 million).

In agriculture commodities, one lot of Wheat amounting to PKR 4.183 million and one lot of Corn amounting to PKR 2.777 million were traded.
