March 20, 2019 (MLN): The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) lost 4.5 paisa against US Dollar and closed at Rs. 139.4385 on Wednesday, against previous session’s closing of Rs 139.3935.The open market rate of Dollar was quoted at 139.0/140.20.

However, PKR emerged victorious against Pound Sterling as it gained 44.94 paisa in the interbank market and closed at Rs. 184.4422, as opposed to previous closing of Rs. 184.8916.

On a rather similar note, the local currency gained 10.23 paisa against Euro and closed at Rs. 158.1581 as compared to previous closing of Rs. 158.2604.

The rupee gained merely 0.29 paisa against Japanese Yen and closed the session at Rs. 1.2497 against previous session’s closing of Rs. 1.2526.
