MSCI Review - Status Quo for Pakistan

August 13, 2020 (MLN): The MSCI Aug 2020 Quarterly Index Review saw no change regarding Pakistan in both Standard Index and Small Cap Index.

Stocks in Standard Index include HBL, OGDC and MCB with Pakistan’s weight in MSCI EM Index at 0.02%, while Stocks in Small Cap Index include BAFL, NBP, SEARL, MTL, PKGS, PPL, LUCK, ENGRO, UBL, MARI, FFC, INDU, HUBC, POL, EFERT & PSO.

According to a note from Al Habib Capital Markets, the impact from this will be neutral.
