KSE Closing Bell - Index Down 220 Points

KSE 100 Index ended the first session of the week 219.82 points (0.66 percent) down to close at 33,009.13. The index traded in a range of 336 points or 1.01 percent of previous close, touching an intraday high of 33,304.40 (+75.45) and a low of 32,968.40 (-260.55) points. Total volume fell to 109 million shares compared to 124 million shares from the previous session while market capitalization decreased by Rs.43 Billion. Out of the 325 traded companies only 88 closed up while 224 closed down with 13 unchanged.
