September 08, 2026 (MLN): The UAE National Pavilion is set to open tomorrow at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt, bringing together leading Emirati companies from the defence, aerospace, aviation and advanced technology sectors.
The three-day airshow will be held at El Alamein
International Airport in Matrouh Governorate from September 8 to 10, 2026,
according to APP.
Established in 2024, the El Alamein International Airshow
has emerged as a regional platform connecting stakeholders from the aerospace,
defence and space industries across Africa and the Middle East.
The event is supported by Egypt’s Ministry of Defence,
Egyptian Air Force, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Egyptian Space Agency and
EgyptAir.
The exhibition covers 125,000 square metres and features
more than 250 exhibitors representing 50 countries, with participation from
governments, armed forces, civil aviation authorities, space agencies and
industry players.
The UAE Pavilion, supported by the UAE Ministry of Defence
and Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, is organised by ADNEC Group, a
Modon company. Covering 871 square metres, the pavilion will highlight the
UAE’s growing defence and technological capabilities.
Participating companies include EDGE Group, Generation 5
Holding, Abu Dhabi Aviation and its group companies, and Multi Level Group.
EDGE Group will display a portfolio of multi-domain defence
technologies covering autonomous systems, uncrewed aviation, precision effects
and ammunition.
Its exhibits include the SHADOW 25 and SHADOW 50 loitering
munitions, HT-100 unmanned helicopter, SKYKNIGHT air defence missile system,
DESERT STING precision-guided glide weapons, THUNDER and AL TARIQ

its activities across defence, aerospace and advanced technology while pursuing

The company will engage with government and military
entities, specialised companies and operators on potential cooperation in

AD Aviation Group will participate through Abu Dhabi
Aviation (ADA), GAL, AMMROC and Maximus Air, presenting the combined aviation
capabilities of its portfolio companies.
The Group aims to strengthen international partnerships and
explore new opportunities in regional markets, with Egypt’s position between
the Middle East and Africa providing an important platform for engagement.
GAL will exhibit display models of the F-16 and Rafale
aircraft. The F-16 is a multirole fighter designed for air-to-air and
air-to-surface missions, while the Rafale is a twin-engine omnirole fighter
capable of conducting missions across air, land and maritime environments.

The facility supports more than 35 fixed-wing and rotary
aircraft types for the UAE Armed Forces, regional air forces and international
partners.
The company will also display a C-130 Hercules model, showing
its role as a Lockheed Martin-approved C-130 Hercules Service Centre for the
Middle East and North Africa, providing maintenance, engineering, component,
modification and upgrade services.
Maximus Air will feature a model of its Antonov AN-124-100
strategic heavy-lift aircraft. The aircraft can transport up to 120 tonnes of
cargo across 850 cubic metres of cargo hold capacity and is designed to handle
oversized and mission-critical shipments for government, defence and commercial
customers.
ADNEC Group will also use the event to promote Abu Dhabi as
a global centre for defence, security and aerospace industries. Its showcase
will feature its portfolio of major international events, including IDEX,
NAVDEX, UMEX, SimTEX and ISNR.
The UAE National Pavilion will be located at Stand C70
throughout the September 8–10 event, where visitors can meet specialists from
participating organisations, explore the displayed technologies and discuss
developments across the UAE’s manufacturing and technology sectors.
The pavilion will further provide a platform for UAE
companies and international stakeholders to pursue collaboration, exchange
expertise and identify new business opportunities.
