K-Electric to raise Rs25 billion via Pakistan's largest Sukuk issue

December 13, 2019 (MLN): K-Electric has announced that the company plans to issue Pakistan’s largest-ever retail-listed Sukuk worth PKR 25 billion (including PKR 5 billion greenshoe option).

The members of the Transaction Shariah Advisory Board signed the Shariah Pronouncement for the Issue at the KE head office yesterday.

Senior members of KE, HBL and NBP management were also present at the event. HBL is the Exclusive Shariah Structuring Advisor, while HBL and NBP are Joint Structuring Agents for the transaction.
