Government of Pakistan releases Roadshow schedule for Sukkuk & Euro Bonds Issue

Government of Pakistan seeks to raise an amount between 1 – 2.5 billion dollars from a Euro and Sukuk Bond issue. In an effort to achieve the target, Government has decided to hold roadshows across different cities of Europe, UAE and United States.

Government after deciding on the consortiums has released a schedule for roadshows today. The government is eyeing to pitch the issue to interested investors across the world.

Road shows are expected to start from Wednesday in different cities across the globe.

First Road show is to be held on November 22nd in Dubai. The Dubai show is followed by one in London scheduled to be held on November 23 and November 24.

After holding shows in Europe and UAE, a Road show in Boston is scheduled to be held on 27th November and in New York on 28th November.

The government announced that the Secretary Finance Mr. Miftah Ismail, Governor State Bank and two other SBP members are to spearhead the road shows and are expected to leave tonight.
