Tariq Corporation's Board approves conversion of preference shares into ordinary shares

September 22, 2026 (MLN): Tariq Corporation Limited's (PSX:TCORP) Board of Directors, through a resolution dated September 22, 2026, passed through circulation, has approved the conversion of Non-voting Convertible Preference Shares into ordinary shares, along with payment of accumulated dividends as on September 30, 2026.

Under the resolution, 14,445,000 shares held by various preference shareholders will be converted into 7,222,500 ordinary shares of the company, in accordance with the term sheet of the preference shares.

The issuance of these shares will result in a significant change to the company's issued and paid-up share capital, which will increase from 82,000,000 ordinary shares to 89,222,500 ordinary shares.

The Share Transfer Books of the company will remain closed on September 30, 2026 for the purpose of determining shareholders entitled to the final preference dividend and processing the conversion of preference shares into ordinary shares.

Transfers received in order at the company's Share Registrar by the close of business on September 29, 2026 will be treated in time for processing dividend entitlements and the conversion.

The entitlement/conversion date has been set as September 30, 2026.
