GIS Auction - SBP Sells First Fixed Rental Rate Ijara Sukuk

The Central Bank conducted the first auction of a 3 Year Fixed Rental Rate Ijara Sukuk on Monday. It received bids worth Rs.245.37 Billion ranging from 5.10 % to 6.95% out of which the SBP accepted Rs.116.25 Billion at 6.10 Percent. The pre-auction target was Rs.100 Billion and the Maximum amount the SBP could accept was Rs.197.36 Billion. Settlement date will be Feb, 15 2016.
