Gas prices scale up by 85% YoY as CPI for utilities expands by 9%

December 05, 2018 (MLN): The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Housing/Water/Electricity/Gas group for the month of November 2018 has increased by 0.08% as compared to October 2018, and increased by 9.11% over corresponding month of the last year i.e. November 2017.

The biggest component of the group i.e. House rent increased by 6.72% on YoY basis.

Moreover, Gas prices demonstrated an increase of 85.31% on YoY basis.

Kerosene Oil rates increased by 2.33% on MoM and 28.81% on YoY basis.
