FPML authorized to sale major assets

January 24, 2023 (MLN): The shareholders of Faruki Pulp Mills Limited (FPML), a subsidiary of JDW Sugar Mills Limited (JDWS) on Monday approved the sale of the entire project land, building, plant & machinery, and other assets of the company to the prospective buyer(s) under guideline/procedure as set out by the Board for sale of FPML, a notification by the company sent to PSX revealed today.

The shareholders further resolved that as part and parcel of the foregoing consent, the board of the company be and is hereby authorized and empowered for the disposal and sale of FPML Assets by doing and performing all acts, matters, things, and deeds to implement and to give effect to the disposal and sale of FPML.
