FFBL's power company restores supply

August 15, 2023 (MLN): The management of Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (PSX: FFBL) has informed PSX that the power supply from FFBL Power Company Limited (FPCL) has been restored with effect from August 12, 2023, the company’s filing on the local bourse revealed today.

It is worth noting that on May 08, FFBL issued a notice stating that the power supply from FPCL has been discontinued due to a technical fault.

The plant was expected to remain closed for a period of 4 weeks and the company’s operations were being managed through self-generated Power and Steam using costlier fuel.

The principal objective of the company is the manufacturing, purchasing and marketing of fertilizers.

At the time of writing, the share of the company is being traded at Rs14.50, down by 0.21% on the day.
