FBR Extends date for filing Tax Returns

September 30, 2019 (MLN): The Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) has extended the last date for filing tax returns for Tax Year 2019 to October 31, 2019.

According to a notification on their website, the FBR revealed that Individuals and Associations of People who have failed to file their tax returns by September 30, 2019 are allowed to file their returns by Oct 31, 2019.

Similarly Companies which were required but failed to file Returns of Total Income/Statements of final taxation for the tax year 2019 by September 30, 2019, but have paid ninety five percent of the admitted tax liability, are allowed to file their returns/statements by October 31, 2019.
