EPQL's profits rise by 26 percent during 3MCY20

April 13, 2020 (MLN): Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited has announced the financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2020, wherein the company has earned profits of Rs. 895.3 thousand, i.e. 26 percent higher as compared to the earnings of the same period last year.
The sales revenue of the company declined by 15 percent, whereas the cost of production well by 23.2 percent. This resulted in an increase of 10.8 percent in the gross profit for the period.
The major expense head of the company i.e. Administrative expense increased by 19.3 percent, while non-core expenses increased by 24.15 percent.
Moreover, the income tax expense paid during the quarter fell by 58.68 percent.
