Engro Polymer announces commercial operation of its new production line

April 22, 2019 (MLN): On December 28, 2017 Engro Polymer and Chemicals announced entering into caustic flakers business by setting up a new production line of 20,000 MT per annum. In relation thereto, the company has announced that commercial operation of the new production line has been achieved.

“Addition of Caustic Soda Flakes to existing product portfolio will further consolidate the Company’s position in Chlor-Alkali segment and will enable the company to capitalize on the inherent proximity advantage for southern domestic market and export avenues” a notification issued by the Company stated on Monday.
