EFERT to resume fertilizer plant from March 1

February 28, 2023 (MLN): Engro Fertilizers Limited (PSX: EFERT) will resume the regular operations of the fertilizer plant situated at Port Qasim with an annual capacity of 150KT from March 1, 2023, the company filing on PSX showed today.

Earlier, the company had announced on January 18, 2023, that the plant would remain shut down until February 28, 2023.

The announcement, made in accordance with Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Rule Book, will likely be received positively by investors and stakeholders of the company.

The resumption of regular operations is expected to enable EFERT to fulfill its production and supply commitments in the fertilizer market.
