Dewan Farooque Motors launches EV production in Pakistan

September 10, 2024 (MLN): In a significant development for both Pakistan's auto sector and Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (PSX: DFML), the company has officially commenced the production of electric vehicles at its assembly plant.

This follows an agreement with its associated company, Eco-Green Motors Limited (EGML).

To recap, on July 23, 2024, DFML notified that the Engineering Development Board (EDB) had conducted a physical verification of EGML’s manufacturing facilities at the company’s assembly plant.

With the approval now received, production has officially commenced.
