Company Secretary DAWH steps down from his position

December 11, 2018 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited (DAWH) in its meeting held yesterday, approved the resignation of Mr. Shafiq Ahmed from the position of Company Secretary.

An official notification from DAWH issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) tells that Mr. Ahmed had formerly submitted his resignation on November 6, 2018.

Mr. Shafiq Ahmed joined Dawood Hercules Corporation in 2007 and has worked in different senior positions, including the Chief Executive Officer of Dawood Lawrencepur Limited and Tenaga Generasi Limited.

Prior to joining the Dawood Group, he served in senior management position in Pakistan National Shipping Corporation and has also been associated with Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder & Co.

Having a flair for textiles, energy and accounting, his career spans over eighteen years working with industry leaders and pioneers in these fields. He holds a degree of Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a degree in Law from Karachi University.
