Agha Steel initiates limited operations on electric arc furnace

January 16, 2024 (MLN): Agha Steel industries (PSX: AGHA) has conducted test runs and commenced limited operations on its electric arc furnace from today, according to a notice issued by the company to the local bourse.

Moreover, the company is still in process of assessment of damage and pragmatic timelines for the commencement of its rolling Mill and complete composite manufacturing facility.

AGHA is principally engaged in manufacturing and sale of steel bars, wire rods and billets.

Meanwhile, the company's scrip is being traded at Rs13.36, down by 39 paisa or 2.84% on the trading session.
