June 11, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Wednesday's trading session at a record high of 124,352.68 points, marking an impressive gain of 2,328.24 points or 1.91%.

The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 124,588.17 (+2,563.73) and a low of 123,237.99 (+1,213.55) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 332.58 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies 75 closed up, 24 closed down, while 1 were unchanged.

Top gainers during the day were PKGP (+10.00%), BNWM (+9.76%), PIOC (+8.05%), MLCF (+7.40%), and PSX (+6.92%).

On the other hand, top losers were FCEPL (-7.05%), ATLH (-4.81%), POML (-4.14%), CNERGY (-3.61%), and UNITY (-3.00%).

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were LUCK (+244.71pts), FFC (+203.88pts), PPL (+199.10pts), ENGROH (+156.57pts), and MARI (+148.56pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were ATLH (-22.02pts), ATRL (-19.47pts), FCEPL (-18.92pts), CNERGY (-13.32pts), and COLG (-11.05pts).

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Cement (+576.42pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+468.23pts), Commercial Banks (+305.08pts), Fertilizer (+284.96pts), and Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (+187.29pts).

While the index was let down by Refinery (-32.79pts), Food & Personal Care Products (-31.23pts), Automobile Parts & Accessories (-5.72pts), Sugar & Allied Industries (-2.35pts), and Vanaspati & Allied Industries (-1.05pts).

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 77,327.80 with a net gain of 1,167.03 points or 1.53%.

Total market volume was 1,041.13 million shares compared to 592.95m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs46.71 billion showing an increase of Rs24.88bn.

There were 454,187 trades reported in 477 companies with 282 closing up, 157 closing down, and 38 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 45,908 points or 58.52% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 9,226 points or 8.01% so far this calendar year.
