Lucky Cement buys back another 5,000 shares

October 13, 2022 (MLN): The Lucky Cement (LUCK) on Thursday announced a buyback of 5,000 shares of the company at a price of Rs512.7 per share, the company said in a notice to the exchange.

On Wednesday, the company also announced a buyback of 90,000 shares at a price of Rs511.86 per share.

On Sep 28, the LUCK board of directors announced a buyback of up to 10 million shares of the company having a face value of Rs10 each.

Companies buy back shares for various reasons such as in order to increase the value of remaining shares or allow exit to investors who are willing to sell their holdings.
