Foreign Minister discusses mutual cooperation with Omani counterpart

January 31, 2019: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a meeting with his Omani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi in Muscat.   

They discussed bilateral ties, latest situation of the region and international issues.   

Both sides reviewed the ways to increase mutual cooperation in various sectors.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi dilated upon the policy of Prime Minister of Pakistan for creating exemplary relations with the neighboring countries.

He said Senate Friendship Group will be made active to increase people to people contacts between both the countries.

The two Foreign Ministers also held talks at delegation level.

Foreign Minster Shah Mehmood Qureshi invited his Omani counterpart to visit Pakistan.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is leading a 12-member delegation of technical experts representing sectors of bilateral cooperation falling under the purview of Joint Commission whose 7th Session will be co-chaired by the two Foreign Ministers tomorrow followed by signing ceremony of bilateral Accords
