FPRM acquires 60% stake in AML/CFT Screening Solution

May 25, 2026 (MLN): First Paramount Modaraba (PSX:FPRM)  has acquired a 60% ownership stake in the FPM AML/CFT Screening Solution Business, operating both inside and outside Pakistan, with the business independently valued at Rs334 million.

The acquisition has increased the Modaraba's equity from Rs284,505,007 to Rs462,997,585. The transaction structure and accounting treatment have been reviewed and certified by the External Auditors and the Shariah Advisor of the Modaraba, and has also been communicated to the SECP.

Management said the move strengthens the Modaraba's footprint in the regional and local market, particularly in the fast-growing technology-enabled compliance sector.

The revised structure is expected to improve operational alignment and governance, support future expansion, and drive long-term value creation for certificate holders.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
